My work immersion was conducted at Awuyon Hospital. It is a healthcare institution that provides medical services such as consultation, treatment, and care for patients.
The hospital staff were kind, professional, and cooperative. The environment was clean, organized, and focused on patient safety and proper healthcare services.
I was assigned tasks similar to a secretary. I was responsible for writing and recording important information, assisting in organizing documents, and helping the staff with clerical work.
Before starting my work immersion, I expected to learn how a hospital works and to gain real-life experience. I also expected to improve my communication skills and learn how to properly interact with patients and staff.
After my immersion, I realized the importance of teamwork, patience, and dedication in providing quality healthcare services. This experience helped prepare me for future work and responsibilities.
On this day, they let me write the important details of the patients, and they also asked me to organize the papers before giving them to the patients.
